Medical Product Development and Commericalization

With years of medical device industry experience, I offer a unique and diverse skillset for developing and commercializing products regulated by the FDA. Not only do I have experience in medical device Assay Development, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Clinical Trials, and Cybersecurity, but I also have recent experience in customer discovery - leading two teams through the National Science Foundation Innovation Corps. (I-Corps.) customer discovery cohorts.

Clinical Trial Specialist

Starting a clinical trial for an in vitro medical device can be a daunting task - especially without a clinical quality system. Within one year, I built a clinical quality system and began a clinical trial from scratch. In 2023, I launched a company's first two clinical trials for an in vitro diagnostic system within the footprint of one of the largest rural health systems in the US.

Bioinformatics Experience

Through both intensive coursework and research experience, I have performed in-depth time course analyses of RNA-Seq data in both plant (S. lepidophylla, A. Thaliana) and animal models (M. sexta) using R and R Studio on both Linux and Windows systems.

Benchtop Research Enjoyer

Extensive academic and industry experience in research techniques including RNA/DNA extraction, RNA-Seq, Western Blots, SDS PAGE, native PAGE, microarrays, qRT-PCR, PCR, FTIR, chromatography, gel electrophoresis, microscopy, and more!
